The Bauer Elite goalie stick has a recurring durability problem centered on the shaft breaking. Replacement sticks can also break again in the same area. It feels lightweight, though.

Some Bauer GSX sticks hold up through many games or practices and more than a year of use, while others crack or break after limited use. The stick feels lightweight to some and heavy to others.

Durability is the Bauer Supreme Shadow goalie stick's major weakness, with repeated cracking and snapping after limited use, including replacement sticks that also failed. It does, however, have a light feel.

The Bauer Vapor FlyLite feels light and easy to use in play. The stick can break after limited use. The paint can also chip readily during normal play.

The Bauer Vapor FlyPro feels light.

The CCM Extreme Flex E5.9 goalie stick feels lightweight. Durability varies, as the stick may last well or develop damage quickly.

The CCM Vizion has shown poor durability in use.

The Sherwood 530 Wood feels light to some, while others find it a little heavy. The build has a sturdy feel.

The Swift Goalie stick feels light. It could use more grip where it is held.

The stick feels light during play.
