The Bauer Elite goalie stick has a recurring shaft-breakage problem, with failures occurring during use. Multiple replacement sticks also broke, often in the same area as the originals. Its lightweight feel is the clearest shared positive.

The Bauer GSX combines a light overall feel with comfortable contact around the blocker hand. Durability is inconsistent, though: some sticks hold up well, while others have cracked or broken at different points on the stick.

Durability is the Bauer Supreme Shadow goalie stick's major weakness, with repeated cracking and snapping after limited use, including replacement sticks that also failed. It does, however, have a light feel.

The Bauer Vapor FlyLite feels light and easy to use in play. The stick can break after limited use. The paint can also chip readily during normal play.

The Bauer Vapor FlyPro feels lightweight. Durability varies across sticks.

The CCM Extreme Flex E5.9 goalie stick feels lightweight and handles well. Durability is inconsistent, with some sticks lasting well while others develop construction damage or fail.

The CCM Vizion has shown durability problems, with some sticks failing after limited use.
