On Sale misleading
This goalie stick was ordered because it was on sale. The website did not disclose that there was obvious use/wear on the blade of the stick. I probably would not have ordered had I known.

The Bauer Elite Intermediate is plagued by severe shaft durability issues, with multiple reviewers reporting breaks within days to weeks of use—often at the same failure point. While one user praised its lightweight feel and ease of movement, the overwhelming consensus is that this stick has a manufacturing defect in the shaft/neck area that causes catastrophic failure under normal playing conditions. Bauer's limited 30-day warranty and refusal to cover repeat failures on replacement sticks compound the frustration.

I was a life time fan of the Sherwood 9950 stick until I had no choice but to purchase this stick. What a difference in weight and fit within my hand. I just love this stick and have purchased a second one. Pros: Lightweight, Versatile.
I didn’t check the reviews before buying this stick and have to add to the list of people who’ve said this stick is not very durable. The handle broke after 45 days of use from my 8YO.
The stick broke on the shaft/neck much like the others listed here. This was after I had made a claim to Bauer stick warranty on a splintering issue on the blade. Because my claim was made roughly 45 days after purchase (but had only been used a few times), and thus outside the 30-day warranty window, Bauer rejected the claim. The stick was used by a 10 year old. The puck that hit the shaft was just dumped in during a drill. The stick is not durable at all. Avoid this stick.
