The TOVI Mirage Pro VIII is a low-kick player stick with a shot profile focused on quick release. A standard shaft taper is matched with a tacky grip, while concave sidewalls and round corners define the shaft's shape. The 85-flex configuration weighs 389 grams.
The TOVI Mirage Pro VIII's blade holds up well, though it takes time to get used to. The stick has a balanced feel. Its grip is comfortable to hold.
On the rink everyone's taking a second look at the stick. Asking me how I like it and where I got it. Blade took a little adjustment time getting used to at first, but now I'll never go back. Feels great, looks great and best of all no more tape.
As a long and avid hockey player, I understand it is difficult for anyone to wrap their brain around taking a stick on the ice not only with holes in the blade but no tape as well. Trust me, embrace it. Immediately you will feel the way the puck is almost magnetic to the blade, with incredible feel and responsiveness when both passing and receiving pucks. As anything it takes several practices to get used to but once you get the feel for it you will love it. The shots explode off the blade and your stick handling will immediately show improvement. It is extremely well-balanced and one of the lightest sticks I've ever used. The tackiness on the blade has lasted way longer than I expected it to. Other than some abrasions and chips from skates or stick checks it's extremely durable. Recommend you try it out!
This TOVI stick is the real deal. After years of looking for the perfect stick, this is it. As a player who loves taking slapshots, the blade is incredibly durable. It's also super lightweight with a comfortable grip which feels secure and prevents slipping.
I use this all the time in my junior league, and I wanted to share that I've been impressed with my new TOVI stick. I recently upgraded, and the improvements have made a noticeable difference in my gameplay. I've particularly noticed how well-balanced it feels and how much more "pop" it has when I take shots. The grip is also really comfortable to hold, which makes a big difference during long games. I'm excited to see how this new stick will continue to improve my performance on the ice.
