The CCM Vizion Senior offers excellent shot feel and release that players love, with a lighter, responsive flex comparable to the Jetspeed. However, it suffers from severe durability issues across multiple failure points: shafts snap cleanly during normal shooting or light contact, blades soften or crack at the shaft-blade junction within weeks, and the stick frequently fails within 30-90 days of use despite its $400+ price tag. Multiple reviewers report the Intermediate model has particularly acute defects, while Senior-sized sticks show somewhat better (but still poor) longevity.
This is my second go with this stick. I play a lot of hockey and go through 5-6 sticks a year. Usually a stick doesn’t last me more than 2 months but this was last me almost 6 months. Love the response and feel of the stick as well. You get what you pay for plus the long durability that you normally don’t get with the top end sticks. And now with the price drop you get even a better bang for your buck.
Loves the stick for shots. But the intermediate has a defect. It looks like a 2 piece stick and the bottom gets a perfect crack line. After a few months it just falls apart. I daughter has 3 and all of them did the same. Just sad they dont last for the price.
