The Bauer X Series player stick uses a Vapor mold and features an easy-load construction. Its blade uses UD Carbon construction, and the stick has a standard taper. For a different taper approach, the Warrior Covert QR6 Rev uses a 3D Edge taper that creates fast recoil on shots.
The Bauer X Series gives a solid overall playing experience and works well in regular use. Its lower end can feel overly flexible and flimsy, though.
As always, the crew at Pure Hockey did a great job. They actually pulled this stick out from the back for us when we mentioned we saw it online but it wasn't out on the rack. The stick ended up snapping about 32 days after purchase so it was past the warranty date from the manufacturer which was a bummer but hey, that's the way it goes sometimes.
I’ve used this a few times now. It’s very durable. It seems like a good stick. It was a good price. I got it off the clearance rack.
