Love the skates. Used stretch wrap on second heat mold to get a perfect fit around my skinny ankles. No pain at all even during a 4 hour session.

The TRUE Catalyst 5 player skate centers its fit on a co-molded one-piece boot that wraps and molds around the foot for a nearly custom-like feel. Its asymmetrical toe cap reduces unnecessary space around the toes for better responsiveness. A center-reinforced black felt tongue protects the top of the foot without restricting motion, while the flexible tendon guard maintains range of motion for energy transfer through each stride.

The TRUE Catalyst 5 can feel comfortable with a fit that conforms closely to the foot.
Good fit and performance, boot failed at 1yr
I was a big fan of these skates, especially after profiling the blades (they were very flat to start), but just at 1 year the heel of the boot cracked to expose the fiberglass. I don’t recall blocking the (beer league) shot that was responsible, so I do blame the skate.
Seem to be a good value
Very good skate for the price point. My son moved up from youth to Jr. and as we all know the price also moves up. Son skated in Bauer Vapor 3x pro in youth but loves the True skate in JR. heat baked at home and you are good to go. Very stiff boot and hard to lace but the Skater loves them.
Super comfortable skates
These skates are fantastic, especially after baking them. They hug my feet perfectly and I feel more in control with the added responsiveness of them. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a great value budget skate. Super happy they have interchangeable blades too.
