Outstanding 1990s Feel
I feel like I'm in my 1990s 651 Vaccu Tacks, the first heat molded hockey skates. Hard quarter package with some flex in the eyelet stay. They fit perfect right from the box. I am a size 10 regular shoe. I got the skates in size 8. Two sizes down just like 1990s skates. I had my local shop bake them. We did the saran wrap too, especially around the forefoot to bring the eyelet stay down. Heel locked in place. They wrap around the foot like a sock. No hot spots. No negative space. None of today's boots fit like this. The guy at my local shop was impressed, saying if these were Bauer's, they would cost $250 more. I love them!
