Very good value at this stage of my life
I'm in my 70's and still referee some men's league hockey games. Had the top-of-the-line CCM skates that were 20 years old. Didn't want to spend $$$$ for new skates although I thought about it? Why leave my children money that they would spend foolishly. Had to the blades contoured to resemble the blades of my old skates and had the 3/8 sharpening for more bite in the ice. That made a big difference to be able to skate like my old skates. Very comfortable boot for me and having them baked I' sure helped. Replaced the laces with shorter waxed laces also. I never have used the top eyelet either and adjusted on how tight to lace them up now for my peak performance. Been skating almost 70 years, hope to stay above ice for many more years to come.
