The CCM Jetspeed Xtra Plus player skate centers on a RocketFrame composite one-piece boot designed to transfer energy for power and agility while reducing weight, improving stride efficiency and providing an anatomical fit. Its TotalDri liner with Polygiene is designed to keep feet dry and fresh, while multi-density memory foam shapes the fit even before baking. A black oxide coating on the XS1 Black runner is intended to improve edge retention and resist rust, while a dial on the XS holder allows straightforward, secure blade changes.

The tongue is a welcome feature on the CCM Jetspeed Xtra Plus.

So light

These skates are so light compared to my old pair, the guy who sharpens my skates even commented that I should be faster because of the weight difference alone (ha). Love the extra padding in the boot and tongue, should be helpful in bruise prevention. The steel is not black steel - it is just paint (you can smell the paint burning when they are being sharpened). They sharpened nicely to my preferred 3/4 and I haven't looked at my old skates since. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality CCM skates at a great price!

Good skate for the price

My son outgrew his FT680’s and since this skate boot is based on that model with the blue color way, it was an easy decision to purchase. The upgraded tongue is a bonus as well.
