The Bauer X-LS player skate is not heat moldable.
I wanted a reputable brand for my child’s first pair of skates (age 4). These did not disappoint. They did not give him blisters like the rentals at the rink. They give him good support and he’s skating well after his 4th lesson. The Velcro straps are sturdy too- seems they will defiantly hold up. Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Fit
the Velcro straps are great!! So convenient and nice not to have to lace up a two year olds skates.
Skate are high quality, we use them for commercial use and they are holding up well
The Bauer X-LS has proven to be a great skate for a young skater who does not tie laces yet. The velcro allows for quick adjustments by mom or skate instructor to ensure a good fit. This was a nice step up from the Bauer Lil' Champ and fit my son with a EE wide foot much more comfortably.
