Bauer X-LP player skates pair a Lightspeed Pro II holder with an S. Stainless runner. Their 3D Injected boot construction is paired with a microfiber liner and standard EVA foam footbed.
The Bauer X-LP feels comfortable and fits well. They work well for learning to skate and for recreational skating. The ankle area can cause pain, though.
I bought these because my daughter is learning to skate and I wanted to learn with her. Rental skates were just completely uncomfortable. The customer service was wonderful in helping me identify the correct size. I purchased online because the nearest skate shop is almost 2 hours away. Was amazed at how they fit perfectly and how much better it is to learn on skates that actually fit correctly.
Great value for beginning skaters. Very good quality and the kid has no complaints at all.
Super affordable option for learning to skate. Glad we chose these. A little stiff, which I expected. Instructor has told me they will break in well.
It has been working great for my kid. They had same in smaller size when started to ice skate for the first time.
