The Bauer Vapor X5 Pro player skates are heat moldable.
The Bauer Vapor X5 Pro feels comfortable from the start and requires little break-in. The skates also feel lightweight. The lace-and-plastic-eyelet interface can be a durability weak point.
Excellent skate for the money, Have put it through hard skates 3 days a week. Took awhile to get fit for my foot just right. Baked it twice and took 2 different profiles to get it perfect. But now I love them. Not sure why they dont come with steel like ccm is my only con.
Bought these for our son (he is 4). There was almost no time needed for break in. He plays hockey and is able to maneuver well and skate fast in them with no difficulty. Glad we purchased them! Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Fast, Great Fit
