The Bauer Vapor FLYPRO player skates use a 3D-lasted Curv Composite quarter package for support without extra weight, while the Digi Comp outsole preserves a lower flex point to promote quickness and agility. Hyperflex facing adds strategically placed notches that allow a deeper knee bend and create a spring-like effect for extra energy on the push-off. Underfoot, the PowerFly holder uses distinct flex points to aid takeoff acceleration and side-to-side transitions.
The Bauer Vapor FLYPRO fits well and feels comfortable, with little break-in needed before it is ready to skate. The skate also feels easy to move in, responding readily as the skater changes direction.
These skates have been great. We had them baked once and didn’t need any additional adjustments or punching afterward. He loves how comfortable they are and how easily he can turn in them. The team at Pure Hockey was also excellent—super helpful staff at the Southlake location.
The team there in Morrisville were nice and accommodating as always. Our son had outgrown his current skates by 2 sizes. The rep was able to help us get him a great fit in the Flypros he selected.
Love the skates. Price is high. Overall satisfied with performance
After the first skate, these skates were good to go. Lightweight, so far pretty durable, and have a real nice glide on the ice. The best skates I have owned at this point.
