The Bauer Vapor FLYPRO player skates use a 3D-lasted Curv Composite quarter package designed to provide support without adding extra weight. A Digi Comp outsole preserves a lower flex point for quickness and agility, while notched HyperFlex facing increases forward flex to release more energy through each stride. Inside, AeroFoam+ padding and a HydroLite liner provide soft support and moisture management to help wick sweat and keep the foot secured in the boot.
The Bauer Vapor FLYPRO fits well and feels comfortable, with little break-in needed before it is ready to skate. The skate also feels easy to move in, responding readily as the skater changes direction.
These skates have been great. We had them baked once and didn’t need any additional adjustments or punching afterward. He loves how comfortable they are and how easily he can turn in them. The team at Pure Hockey was also excellent—super helpful staff at the Southlake location.
The team there in Morrisville were nice and accommodating as always. Our son had outgrown his current skates by 2 sizes. The rep was able to help us get him a great fit in the Flypros he selected.

After the first skate, these skates were good to go. Lightweight, so far pretty durable, and have a real nice glide on the ice. The best skates I have owned at this point.
