Best skates I have ever owned. Bauer Vapors fit me the best, and the step up to this model has improved my skating greatly.

VAPOR 1X - 2017
The Bauer Vapor 1X - 2017 player skate has asymmetric quarter dimensions, with the boot’s inside extending farther than the outside to fit anatomically around the ankle bones. Its 3-D Lasted Curv Composite quarter package is very stiff yet lightweight, and highly thermoformable for a contoured fit after baking. A Tuuk LightSpeed Edge holder uses a trigger-release system for blade changes in seconds.

The Vapor 1X - 2017 can feel comfortable on the foot after baking. It can also fit well before heat molding. The skate feels light and responds readily to movement.

I can finally retire my Bauer Supreme 4000
They fit like a glove and I haven't even baked them yet. I'm actually scared to since they fit so well out of the box.

Great skate for 9 yr old playing rep hockey
These skates, with a firm boot, lasted 2 seasons playing 10U for a pretty decent player who was alternating between offense and defense. He has a wide foot and this was a great skate and he did not complain once about the fit. We are buying another pair of this model for the next stage.
