I've been skating on these skates twice a week for just over 2 months now, and I love them. After baking, they fit great right away and didn’t take much break-in. They’ve got a lot of support, which I need at 6'2", 240, but they still feel responsive and I don't feel like they hold me back when I’m skating.
These are incredible top-of-the-line skates! I had previously been skating on Vapor X4s 4-5 times per week. They held up great, but I was ready to step up to the next level. I’m so glad I did!! They’re comfortable around the ankles, the top box is spacious but confining, providing the right amount of comfort. I can actually FEEL the power transfer to the ice!! Highly recommend!!
Easy break in , fit is perfect and powerful skating stride .
Very happy with overall protection and comfort. Now that I’ve worn them six times, they’re settling in. I’m starting to feel the skate floor under my feet. I might try a sole insert to see if that’ll make it more comfortable. As to protection … I’ve stopped a strong shot on the inside of my foot and no stinger. For me, that’s the top priority. They also provide more support above my ankle. I’m feeling very good about my choice.
