I love these skates so much they are my favorite things I own
Beware! My son is an elite male 9 year old skater who wore exclusively Supreme M50 Youth skates in half-sizes up to 13.5 and then suddenly had arch pain in Supreme junior size 1. Here's why: Bauer Supreme M50 youth S22 + S24: flexible boot; made from woven fiberglass bound together with an injected epoxy resin matrix. Bauer Supreme M50 Pro junior S24: exceptionally stiff boot; made from woven polymer fibers into a rigid composite. Bauer Supreme Fuse junior S26: maintains the same exceptional rigidity because the core boot construction (Carbon Curv Composite) is the same as in the S24. Bauer Supreme Ignite Pro junior S26: flexible boot; made from woven composite fibers blended with rigid plastic. Switching from the Supreme to the less expensive Ignite Pro solved his foot pain immediately. Conclusion: The jump in stiffness from the top-of-the-line Youth skate to the top-of-the-line Junior skate is too steep for feet that have not yet had the strengthening boost of puberty.
