Below the boot, the TUUK Lightspeed Pro II holder locks in the blade for energy transfer during the stride, while LS1 runners are intended to provide edge life and durability.
My son had XLP Bauer skates when he started, since then he’s outgrew them but also stated he wanted stiffer skates, since he’s been in them he feels that hug the ice better and his movement has improved with the skates being much stiffer, he loves them and really puts them to work
Have been using Bauer M50 Pros for years...we've had two pairs of the size 13.5 skates that have made clicking sounds. This is a fixed blade skate. Even though we've owned previous full and half sizes in this skate, we've never before had clicking from the loose blade.
We went in for some new skates. Got my daughter’s feet mapped. They had her try different models on each foot to really see what skate was best.
