Great for the budget.
Greet skate especially for the budget players. I have the 8.5 Wide and it is comfortable after a bake. I’ve had other wide skates in the past from other brands and would always squeeze my feet or be too wide. This fits my perfect. My only gripes are the Clarino material in the skate is blue and I’ve noticed it’s stained my laces white and a small part of the bottom of the boot of the pad where it lightly comes into contact with it. No biggie for me as I usually pull my sock over that part to secure the laces from getting caught in my steel while I shuffle. Other gripe is the holder’s holes are narrow. I use Pro laces and the ccm hybrid laces on my pads. Each pair of those toe ties are a hassle to weave through the holders holes. I have to fold the velcro pieces through and then pull hard to get it through. Then trying to do the other end of the toe tie while there’s already material in there is a bit harder. I’ve never had that issue with any other holder. It’s like they designed these just for laces. Zoom in on the photos and you’ll see what I mean. They’re like a weird triangle rectangle on the front and back where people usually weave their toe ties through. Final gripe might just be in my head but I feel like I have to sharpen these Shift Attack blades more often than I have ever needed to. Previously with other steel on other skates I can do about 4-5 games before needing to be sharpened. With these it’s like every 2 games I need to get them sharpened. Other than that this skate is great. I play between division 4-6 in men’s league and I’ve had these for about 6 months and they have never let me down in game. Highly recommend.
