Great Looking Skate
The skates seem very well built and my 8 year old loves them. He said they are very comfortable compared to his Bauer GSX goalie skates. He likes the fact he can put them on by himself now.

The Bauer KONEKT HF2 goalie skate uses a plated hinge joint in the upper heel that allows up to 22 degrees of flex when engaged. It pairs that flex design with a shell-molding process and a lower buckle system.

The Bauer KONEKT HF2 is comfortable with little break-in required. Heat molding can produce a comfortable fit, and the skates allow ample ankle mobility. However, buckles and strap cables can break, and replacement parts may not be available for repair.

Works great
Great skates! I know conventional wisdom says to use a size 7 boot for a size 7.5 foot, but coming off the size 7 original Koneckt, I never was satisfied with how my foot felt in the boot. Fast Forward to the HF2, I had a hunch that a size 8 was going to work better. With some fiddling, I got a great fit with a size 8! YMMV. I have a lifetime supply of Vaughn Step Steel, so I mounted Vaughn cowls on.

Super comfortable and allow me to get much lower than my old Bauer skates

Awful product, Awful service .
6 months after purchase . Over the foot straps cable broke. Pure hockey and Bauer don’t have parts to repair . They won’t replace, they won’t take them back and they won’t even give a credit to buy another pair. Doesn’t say much for a leading brand. Will spread the word and No more Bauer products us.
