The Bauer KONEKT 2 goalie skates feature HINGFLEX for up to 22 degrees of additional flex, plus a flex inhibitor that can reduce overall boot flex by up to 50 percent. The removable, thermoformable ULTRALON liner is designed to enhance comfort and minimize negative space in the boot as it molds during fitting. Push-lock buckles provide a consistent, locked-in fit, while rotating wire buckles allow micro-adjustments to the buckle length. The GRILAMID shell is thermoformable and intended for impact resistance and toughness.
The Bauer KONEKT 2 can improve movement on the ice. It has a different feel from other skates. Fit can be sensitive to foot shape, sometimes requiring strap changes. The buckle system can fail.

Buckles issues
I just want to start by saying I love these skates I skated in them a couple times and I already see a big difference in my movements and skill. I wore them a week after we got them to a game after a couple of practices (I was not playing this game thankfully) but in warm ups a puck hit the side not even that hard and somehow broke the buckle. The WHOLE game standing on the bench the buckle would not stay on. I even made sure the arrows was match up right and it still didn’t work. The buckle looks fine, untouched. But it just won’t stay closed. Like I said I love these skates and would definitely recommend but please fix how sturdy the buckles are. My buckle couldn’t even stay on, with the lowest level now. I have to use clear tape to keep it on tomorrow for my game now.

Defective skate's terrible customer service.
Bought the skates at the Burlington store. Went to the Braintree store for molding but the buckle was not working. I was going to order new skates, but the Braintree store wanted to charge me for shipping. I said no thank you. I went back to the Burlington store returned the skates and they offered to send me the new skates no charge for shipping, I said OK. We received the skates only to find out that the skates we returned were sent back to us. I returned the skates to Braintree store for a full refund.

A little over priced but great skate
I’ve used these skates for one ice time and loved them I’ve seen that people have said it’s a big adjustment but I find that if you come from Bauer skates it’s not really too much different just a little different feel but nothing outrageous. (Coming from Bauer Elites)

Good fit and value even with high price
Fantastic boot. I tried a few other models, but they killed my feet. These worked out great. One foot is a little wider than the other, and I ordered some "wide" straps that help make it fit better and more comfortable. Yes they're expensive, but there's a shorter break in period and now I don't have to worry about laces or my feet hurting. Love them.
