Old Time Hockey

Bought this twig as a joke for men’s league. Used to use woodys as a kid so I figured why not it’s a great price and I bet it’s lighter than the old ones… First shift second shot went back bar. Beauty. Second shift snapped the centers stick in 2 off the draw. Double beauty. Has the ultimate woody feel basically catches pucks on its own BUT make sure to hit bi’s tri’s and wrists in the gym if you want to use it in the third things a wagon down the line. Pros: Comfortable. Cons: Heavy.

Great Stick

I grew up on Wooden Sticks or the heavier 2 piece models when I was younger. I like the feel of this stick as well as it's durability. I have a carbon fiber as well, but more often than not, I pull this one. Pros: Durable, Comfortable, Lightweight.

With the game on the line, the last thing you need is a broken stick.

Wood is more reliable than carbon fiber When your stick snaps in half blocking an opponent's shot, you are the only guy without a stick and bad things are about to happen. For the extra few MPH a carbon stick creates on a slapshot, its not worth it. The 5030 is a great stick, been great for decades. Buy one while you still can. Pros: Durable.
